Approved by the Texas Education Agency, the School at Avondale House is a year-round program for children with autism ages 3-21, who exhibit behavioral challenges associated with their moderate to severe autism diagnosis.
With certified teachers, licensed specialists, well-trained paraprofessionals, a low teacher-to-student ratio, and state-of-the-art classrooms, our educational program is tailored to meet the specific individual needs of each student.
The School at Avondale House serves over 75 students from more than 20 different school districts. Each student receives education and training according to the child’s individualized education and behavior improvement plans. Classes include weekly art and music lessons, community-based instructional outings, and daily recreation.
