Avondale House’s Adult Day Program provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for adults aged 18 and older with autism, offering personalized care and skill-building opportunities throughout the day.

Licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Avondale House provides supportive home-like environments to individuals with autism in the Houston area. Residents participate in family-style living, as well as daily activities designed to meet their developmental, behavioral, and social needs that focus on the development of independent living skills.

Avondale House contracts with Texas Workforce Commission to provide job placement and supported employment services to individuals on the autism spectrum who need assistance finding competitive employment. Program participants learn specific skills to help them find and maintain a job of their choosing.
