Give by Mail
If you are not able to submit your donation online, please make your check payable to “Avondale House” and mail it to the Director of Development, Avondale House, 3737 O’Meara Drive, Houston, TX 77025. In addition, we are always happy to accept donations in person at our facility.
Honoraria and Memorials
There is no better way to honor a loved one, celebrate a special occasion, or show someone you care than to make a gift in his or her name. Your gift to Avondale House will be shared and appreciated by many and will further our mission to strengthen the lives of children and young adults with autism.Each gift received by Avondale House is acknowledged to the individual in whose honor or memory the gift was made. The gift amount remains confidential. The donor will receive a separate receipt.
Matching Gift Programs
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs, which are designed to match charitable contributions made by their employees. Companies often match gifts made by employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Check with your company’s human resources or payroll department to see whether it offers a matching gift program before making your next gift to Avondale House.If your company participates, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed along with your gift. Once we receive your form, we process it and send it back to your employer, who will then send in a matching gift donation to Avondale House on your behalf. We will send you and the company receipts for tax purposes. This is a great opportunity for you to support Avondale House and possibly double or even triple the amount of your gift!
