Cure Autism Now A California-based organization founded in 1995 to raise money for research into the causes, treatment and cure for autism.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Autism Infomation Center The lead federal agency for protecting the health and safety of people. The CDC compiles statistical information to guide actions and policies to improve the health of the nation. Working with partners throughout the health community, they use a variety of approaches to efficiently obtain information from the sources most able to provide information. Data is collected from birth and death records, medical records, interview surveys, and through direct physical exams and laboratory testing.
Autism Speaks The National Alliance for Autism Research (NAAR) merged with Autism Speaks, creating the largest single organization devoted to autism in the nation.
