The Friends serve to commit their resources and time to further the mission of Avondale House.

The Friends can participate in the planning and implementation of fund-raising events, the speakers' bureau, field trips and direct service opportunities with the students.

The Friends receive invitations to Avondale House events and attend a social event in their honor.

The Friends receive a Lending a Hand Friend pin.
